About United Khalsa Hockey Club Victoria
Our Mission
Established in 2015 with the purpose of introducing the community to the great game of field hockey, so every child who participates in the sport can enjoy a positive experience, while creating a passion for the game. To build self-esteem and character in a family friendly setting, and bring a level of confidence in the competitive hockey environment, while promoting respect for players, parents, coaches, officials, and opponents. We place emphasis on education, personal development, teamwork and sportsmanship. The individual conduct of committee members, coaches, players and parents will be maintained to ensure a positive culture, in which all can honour the sport in an organisation that we can be proud of.
Facilities
We use the Hume Lacrosse and Hockey Centre at 450 Grand Boulevard, Craigieburn.

Highlights
Our juniors have placed in the top three teams of the competition consistently and our star junior player Aditya Chopra was the top goal scorer in the 2019 competition with 54 goals.
Club History
Our club was registered in 2015 and was affiliated with Hockey Victoria in 2016. We were the first hockey club to commence in Craigieburn under the current hockey Victoria administration.
We are firmly committed to enjoying the game of hockey along with the fitness and community spirit it provides. We currently have two teams playing competition. Our junior team plays in the north-west competition and our senior team plays in the north-west Metro B competition. We are open to both male and female players of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels.

Dr. Santokh Singh played hockey at school level. He is a practicing GP, he has a deep love of hockey, fitness, health and community spirit.

Mr. Inderjeet Singh Sandhu played hockey at school and university and went on to represent at government level games. He is the founder of our club and is currently a player and coach. His passion and dedication is what keeps our club alive.

Mrs. Baljinder Kaur Boparai is working in Health Sector as a Nurse , She loves sports , sparing time in helping clubs Activities , managing club Official events. Helping Junior team players as a Teams Coordinator , Team Manager, players Registration and looking after Finance. Great Volunteer of United Khalsa Hockey Club.
